This app lacks radar and warnings. There are many weather apps in the Mac store that do include such things. The animation is cute but non-informative. Maybe if you’re a 5 year old, the animation helps, but otherwise, this app is a “swing and a miss."

This is a great App and I use it all the time to check the weather.

It needs a Radar/Satellite live map. It would also be better if it displayed the current temp on the top status bar, which is visible a lot more than on the bottom ‘dock’ which is only visible when I select an app that I want to run.

Nice program I just wish would issue sever weather alerts

I am running this app on OSX 10.10.3 Yosemite and I am seeing no bugs or problems whatsoever. I also use another weather app called Weather Live and there are no conflicts or issues of this nature between the two. I live in Montana U.S.A. and keeping track of the weather is absoleute mandatory for me. This particular app has a great interface, it is very easy to configure and functions quite well. Most worth the download. I have the paid version and never did mess around with the trial version. This app works exactly as described. 5 stars :)

Just use Spotlight to bring up Weather Doc. I only have to press “W” and it’s the first thing to come up. Actually I use LaunchBar….which does a million things….but you can do it with Spotlight for free too! Love the Weather App…clear, concise, to the point, then move on.

I got this during the process of getting away from Yahoo, in part because I hated the Weather Channel app that Yahoo offered. So far I love this one. Its easy on the eyes, has the info you need at a glance, and is ready to go in the dock any time you need it. You can pull up hourly forecasts with a click, and you can easily switch between your favorite locations too. Nothing to complain about here.

Now that I have paid for this app what exactly do I have to do to see something but a tiny icon in the dock? Help is not! While this picture may be pretty I acannot see any information. The screenshots shown when you are decidiing to purchase show full screen information. I can find no way to enlarge the icon. Clicking on the dock icon just brings preferences. No way to contact writers. How can I get this tyo work or get my $3 back? REVISED<>>>>> I am so ashamed. The error was mine. Just adding a zip code does not work. You have to wait until it searches and offers you the city and state, then you accept and it works great. The authors got back to me in a couple of days and tried to help, but I was still doing things wrong. Have changed rating from one star to four stars due to unhelpful help. I suggested revising help. Hope they take me up on it.

After relying on dedicated weather websites for weather information I was tired of seeing all the large advertisements in the middle of the screen. I was looking for a dedicated weather app for my Mac to avoid all the screen noise advertising brings. After looking at several other apps I settled on this one. It’s appearance on the screen is magnificent. It captures all of the important information I want to know regarding weather conditions and displays them in an organzed and informed way. The only thing I wish that was a part of this app was an ability to see weather RADAR. I live in Oklahoma, so looking at RADAR, especially during tornado season, would be helpful for me. Other than that want, the app was definitely worth the money to me.

It’s great to know what’s going on outside while you’re on the computer. The only thing lacking that I have yet to find is if it has radar. Otherwise, very good!

Had to uninstall it was so fare off. Wrote to the App and explained their problem in that it was using the wrong data for my zip code and explained where the error was coming from. Got a reply that they got their data from the Weather Underground. OK, but if the data is wrong why to you still except it. Very Bad App.

I have several iPad apps that do a pretty good job of weather reporting. Too bad none of them will run on my MacBook Pro. This app is not really useful at all, and I certainly wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. Especially not to a friend. Someone REALLY needs to develop some weather apps for Macs & laptops similar to those for iPad and iPhone. So. No. I’m not pleased with this one at all, and even less pleased with half a dozen others that I have tried over the last couple of years. This one is still on my MacBook (unlike the others),, but only because I want to have SOMETHING no matter the lack of quality or usefulness. . . .

After trying multiple weather apps, this is by far my favorite. It provides everything I need, especially the easy ability to switch between locations. The daily, hourly, and weekly forecasts are easily accessible, as is the ability to add & delete locations.

I have a professional weather station in my house and use it to compare it to Weather Dock. I must say that it is as accurate at the professional one. I especally like the advance weather pane which I of course do not get with the pro station. With that being said is it why I gave it a 5 star rating. I also really like the hourly outlook, it really gives you a detailed look at what is coming.

I like the translucency, retina screen beauty, and UI layout… I don’t like the cartoon animations… and would like to see hourly forecast and barometric pressure.

I’m surprised there isn’t a Mac OS app from a mainstream company - oh well. This one crashes occasionally, and it would be nice if the hourly forecasts could be pulled up by double clicking on the day, but it does the job and it’s pretty to look at so im happy. Four stars.

It sits in my dock with it’s cute little annimation telling me the weather and temp. And if I want more info, I can just click on it and get details.

I love this app. Weather Dock keeps me up to date weather wise and I can check it quickly any time.
